Problem upgrading from 11.1 to 11.2 on Fedora 29

Not sure if that is the correct list, but I wanted to give a heads up that
upgrading failed on my machine.

It seems like "postgresql11-plpython3" requires 11.1.

I have the same problem for the latest point release on other versions too.

Uninstalling the "plpython3" package fixed the problem.

Here is the output:

# dnf update

 Problem 2: package postgresql11-plpython3-11.1-1PGDG.f29.x86_64 requires postgresql11(x86-64) = 11.1-1PGDG.f29, but
noneof the providers can be installed
 
  - cannot install both postgresql11-11.2-1PGDG.f29.x86_64 and postgresql11-11.1-1PGDG.f29.x86_64
  - cannot install the best update candidate for package postgresql11-plpython3-11.1-1PGDG.f29.x86_64
  - cannot install the best update candidate for package postgresql11-11.1-1PGDG.f29.x86_64
 Problem 3: package postgresql96-plpython3-9.6.11-1PGDG.f29.x86_64 requires postgresql96(x86-64) = 9.6.11-1PGDG.f29,
butnone of the providers can be installed
 
  - cannot install both postgresql96-9.6.12-1PGDG.f29.x86_64 and postgresql96-9.6.11-1PGDG.f29.x86_64
  - cannot install the best update candidate for package postgresql96-plpython3-9.6.11-1PGDG.f29.x86_64
  - cannot install the best update candidate for package postgresql96-9.6.11-1PGDG.f29.x86_64
 Problem 4: problem with installed package postgresql10-plpython3-10.6-1PGDG.f29.x86_64

Thanks for the report. I also noticed this, but thought it was an issue on my
laptop, so just ignored it :-(

The problem is: On Fedora 29, for some reason that I don't know yet, plpython3
package is not built against PostgreSQL 11.x. Looks like a change between 11.1
and 11.2 broke this.

Looking into it.
