[BUGS] BUG #14536: Centos 7 gdal-libs Dependency Problem

Description:

I have installed PostgreSQL 9.6.1 on a CentOS 7 server.  The latest EPEL7 is
also installed and enabled.  When I try to install the postgis2_96 repo I
get  gdal-libs-1.11.4-10 dependency errors.  I installed from the pgdg96 yum
repositories.  Note, that 9.2 is not installed on the server - see the
reference to the pgdg92 in the error message.

Hi,

Can you please send the output of

rpm -qa|grep ^pgdg

You can also try with

yum-config-manager --disable pgdg92
and try installing PostGIS again.

I disabled and removed the pgdg92 repo from the machine.  Here are the
result of the rpm query:

rpm -qa|grep ^pgdg
pgdg-centos96-9.6-3.noarch

rpm -qa|grep ^epel
epel-release-7-9.noarch

When I install PostGIS, Am getting a similar error:

sudo yum install postgis2_96
......

Can you please make sure that EPEL repo is actually enabled? It seems it is
not.

Fixed the problem and PostGIS 96 installed.  While the main epel repo
was enabled, there was a second entry of epel in another rep that was
disabled - the conflict prevented PostGIS from installing.  Thanks for
