All installation performed to the letter, all worked OK until initdb when I
discovered that Redhat installed Postgres 6.3 for me when I set up the
machine. I removed the postgresql-data, then postgresql rpm packages and
then logged off and on the postgres user. This time initdb worked fine.

Regression tests again to the letter. Failed on geometry, random (doh?), and
rules. No significant differences, but didn't examine too closely.

All in all, a painless success! - thanks.
