In the default installation of PostgreSQL that comes with RedHat Linux,
there are two JDBC JAR files. These are
jdbc7.0-1.1.jar
and
jdbc7.0-1.2.jar
Does anyone know what the difference is (besides the obvious release level)?
Which is the 'better' one to use?

Hi Jerry, Not familar with the redhat default installs, but 1.1 and 1.2 would indicate the JDK that they support. 7.0 would probably indicate that they are from the 7.0 database which is a bit old at this stage. I'd be looking at downloading the latest 7.2.1 postgresql and the latest java driver jar files from jdbc.postgresql.org. Cheers, Tom.
