Is there a clean way to cast 'PGconn' reference in something like a
'long' (or else)
in order to pass connection refs to an environment that doesn't support
structures,
and then get back securely this reference from it ?

There is some support now for this in PgAccess, with the PGA Image
widget type. You can even use these images in your Forms:
