pgAdmin II's error message

Hi All,

   I installed the pgAdmin II on my machine (window 98 SE) but when i run
it i receive the following message.

   An error has occurred in pgAdmin II :frmConnect.cmdConnect_Click:   Number:-2147467259   Description: Error while
executingde query;   ERROR: Attribute 'datlastsysoid' not found.

Evidently pgAdmin II doesn't work with pre-7.1 Postgres.  Not sure
whether its developers care ;-).  But they might want to do a
select version() and issue a more useful error message for too-old
Postgres backends.

I had to draw the line somewhere!! I developed initially with 7.0, but
mainly with 7.1, aiming to release roughly with 7.2 which I obviously beat
by a couple of weeks :-). Officially, it supports 7.1 & 7.2. The original
pgAdmin supports 7.0 & 7.1 but NOT 7.2.

<hangs head in shame> yes, I know. I've been meaning to do it for a while -
I did put it in the troubleshooting guide though. I'll do it now...
