Sudden crash in pgadmin

От

Дата:
This is not restricted to the latest version.

On some XP machines PgAdminIII crashes when the user logs in to a
remote database.
The log file shows the login occurring but nothing else because
PgAdmin has shutdown.
These are no messages in the system logs etc.

Thanks Andrew.
Just one more question.

How did you install pgAdminIII?

Andrew Maclean wrote:

The PostgreSQL is: PostgreSQL 8.3.7 on i486-pc-linux-gnu, compiled bt GCC gcc-4.3.real (Debian 4.3.3-5) 4.3.3

The PgAdminIII version Version 1.10.0(Jun29 2009, rev: 7942:7943M).

The attached file pgadmin.log is the debug log file from this program.

The machine is Windows XP.

For your comparison I have run pgadmin (the same version), connecting to the same database from another machine. This file is called OKpgadmin.log. This is a Windows Vista Machine.

Thanks for any help

   Andrew
