I don't think EXECUTEing sets FOUND to true. Try:

CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION DATOGRANDE(TEXT)
RETURNS BOOLEAN AS $$
BEGIN INSERT INTO FUNCDATOGRANDE VALUES (DEFAULT,$1); IF FOUND THEN   RETURN TRUE; ELSE   RETURN FALSE; END IF;
END;
$$ LANGUAGE 'PLPGSQL';
