Cewl... wouldn't this enable us to run PostgreSQL on beowolf-like
clusters? :) (for those of you unknown to them, see
http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/beowulf/consortium/consortium.html, this one
is also very nice :)  http://cnls.lanl.gov/avalon/ ).
