Just because in your perfect world you never have to deal with random events and the corporate insanity some of the others of us do is not reason to call someone a liar. I'm not arguing this with you. I will tell you that I hear it over and over from my users that Postgresql is hard to use, and this is one of the areas they find hard. You don't care, fine, don't care. Just have enough courteousy to assume that other people may actually live in a slightly different world than yours, and aren't necessarily liars just because they get stuck doing things differently than you.
