I just completed a port to DBI, DBD and made the changes available for
download at http://www.simtax.ca/acc/source/
filename: sql-ledger.0.2.1.tgz

I tested it with the postgres driver, I don't have any other SQL server to
test it with. I believe there is still some postgres specific stuff in the
SQL commands, mainly a typecast from float to integer to get rid of
rounding errors. I do not know if typecasts are supported in other SQL
servers.

I would also like to get some feedback.  Let me know what you think.

Any comments, suggestions are welcome.
