Re: unixODBC distribution installs newer odbcpsql libs

Sorry to push on this, but I was reading your reply with some interest. The
implication from your reply seems to be that the ODBC driver packaged with
pg is the best driver to use with the current distribution. Is this your
recommendation?

The PostgreSQL ODBC driver has seen a lot of work since 7.1.  At first
glance, it doesn't seem like unixODBC has merged up on those yet.  The
version number choice is bogus and can be ignored.
