Ok, forget about it, just realized that psql uses 'less' to display the tables, so there's the rub. regards, Guðmundur -----Original Message----- From: Guðmundur Erlingsson [mailto:txakolin@bok.hi.is] Sent: 17. ágúst 2001 09:31 To: pgsql-cygwin@postgresql.org Subject: [CYGWIN] Special characters in psql I'm not sure if this is a problem with Psql or PostgreSQL in general. I put up a database and loaded it with textual data. That part went fine. However, when I do a query, all the special characters (f.ex. 'á', 'ð' and 'þ') don't show up. I can't find any configuration parameters that deal directly with this. Any clues? regards, Guðmundur ---------------------------(end of broadcast)--------------------------- TIP 3: if posting/reading through Usenet, please send an appropriate subscribe-nomail command to majordomo@postgresql.org so that your message can get through to the mailing list cleanly
