Thanks Josh! I do have a community account (have had one for a long time!) but missed that particular instruction - thought I had to request admin privileges this route.

The way this would work is you create a community community account, request edit privileges and then edit the page yourself.
Further you may want to also submit it to the events portion of the .Org website.
