mingw postgresql no prompt

HI all-

I seem to have the same problem this other person had a long time ago. I can't execute this in msys2 shell, but it works on windows (cmd) console.

./psql.exe -h localhost -d template1

Please let me know if there is an easy fix that you can think of.
