What does Cloud Server offer?

Near Instant Provisioning. Cloud Server can provision single instances
or high availability clusters of PostgreSQL or Postgres Plus Advanced
Server. In addition, single instance or high availability clusters
based on production data for developer sandboxes and test environments
can be created in a few minutes.
Cloud Data Redundancy/Backup.  Redundant copies of your data are
maintained using Postgres' built in fast binary replication. In
addition, Cloud Server maintains 1 or more recoverable rolling backups
of your data taken in snapshot windows you specify.
High Availability Postgres Clusters with Automatic Scaling.  The
automatic scaling in Cloud Server adds additional storage to every
member in the cluster based on a threshold you set and for horizontal
scaling adds new cluster members when your connection threshold is
exceeded to maintain optimal data availability due to unpredictable or
naturally spikey user loads.
Automatic Failover/Self-Healing.  Cloud Server constantly monitors the
health of the master server and replicas in a cluster and heals itself
if any member fails. A downed master is automatically replaced with a
replica, and any replicas promoted to master or failed are replaced
with new replicas to maintain the original configuration.
Load Balancing.  As clusters are built, expanded, healed, or reduced,
the automatic load balancing routes write requests to the master
server and distributes read loads across the entire cluster to
maintain optimal use of your cloud resources and high performance for
your applications.
Black or white box environment.  Use your clusters 'as is' for instant
trouble free and administration free usage or easily customize your
cluster environment using all postgresql.conf parameters.
GUI Console.  The Cloud Server Console provides everything you need to
create and manage one or more Postgres clusters including cloud
status, cluster lifecycle management, cluster storage and connection
management, performance and event monitoring, backups, and user
management/security all from your favorite browser.
