I create both of them from the same machine so I"m not sure. Does maven change the jar's at all when they are uploaded?
David. Do you see any file size differences ?

Can someone please explain why there is a checksum difference between the JDBC drivers on the PostgreSQL website and those in Maven? I am using Maven for the first time so am unsure which file is correct or why there is a difference.
