I mean, I think it's fine and good to build the functionality that we need in a way that maximizes the likelihood that other tools can reuse that functionality, and I think we should do that. But I don't think it's smart to build functionality that we don't really need in the hope that somebody else will find it useful unless we're pretty sure that they actually will.
