Re: pgAdmin 4 v6.7 Released

one question:

 

if I install pgadmin v4 6.6 and check pgadmin4.exe in C:\Program Files\pgAdmin 4\v6\runtime it tells me under details its fileversion is 0.62.0.0

 

if i install pgadmin v4 6.7 and check pgadmin4.exe in C:\Program Files\pgAdmin 4\v6\runtime it tells me under details its fileversion is 0.61.0.0

 

in my humble opinion file version should not be lowered in a later version. Did you reused pgadmin4.exe from version 6.5?

 

 

 

Yes I know I can use registry for software deployment detection - looks like I have to use registry from now on.

Security Release

 

Please note that this release includes a security update to fix an issue where a user could upload files to directories outside of their storage directory when using pgAdmin running in server mode.

 

Users running pgAdmin in server mode, including the standard container-based distribution, should upgrade to this release as soon as possible.

 

This issue does not affect users running in desktop mode.

 

Notable changes in this release include:

 

Bugs/Housekeeping:

·         Fixed a schema diff issue where difference SQL isn't generated when foreign key values for a table differ.

·         Fixed a schema diff issue where the string separator '_$PGADMIN$_' is visible for identical user mappings.

·         Fixed an issue where pgAdmin 4 took ~75 seconds to display the 'Starting pgAdmin' text on the splash screen.

·         Ensure that upload paths are children of the storage directory.
