Hello Monika,

most likely you are missing the Microsoft C Runtime Libraries in an accessible location for pgadmin.

That may happen if the installer fails to install them - usually caused by  limited rights or over-eager system protections. 

A quick fix is usally to copy one msvcr71.dll into the binary-directory of pg_admin. Usually there is at least one copy of mscr71.dll on your computer; please find it and copy it into the directory of pgadmin3.exe

Hi,
 
I installed the newiest pgadmin3 by windows-msi script. Afterwards the application doesn't start,  and the message is:
pgadmin3.exe.
Diese Anwendung konnte nicht gestartet werden, weil die Anwenungskonfiguration nicht korrekt ist. Zur Problembehebung sollten Sie die Anwendung neu installieren.
 
But a reinstall doesn't help.
 
Beforehand I've used pgAdmin 1.10.5 without any problems.
 
Has anybody a solution for this problem??? I tried to uninstall the old version before instaling the new, but this also didn't help. There is the bad configuration??
 
pgAdmin version 10.12.1
pgAdmin OS: Windows XP
PostgreSQL version: 8.4.4
Postgresql OS: Solaris 10
