The other Greg's just made a quick prototype. I was all for the catalog when we created it, as it was (and still is) better than what we had before. But there is no shame in admitting later on that it is not working out, and could be improved upon. It's certainly much better than pgfoundry's listings, which as other have pointed out, does more harm than good. In that respect, I'd like us to be a little *less* like CPAN. Using CPAN is great if you already know what you want, but there is no way to sort the good from the bad, or know which of 10 similar projects to choose. - -- Greg Sabino Mullane greg@turnstep.com PGP Key: 0x14964AC8 201001061527 http://biglumber.com/x/web?pk=2529DF6AB8F79407E94445B4BC9B906714964AC8 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iEYEAREDAAYFAktE8sMACgkQvJuQZxSWSsjUxgCgpVAhz9fgxICkyeEukE2xyHqz 7MoAn0gBvgiJE+7ER8cXLTkAKUTNDKOw =JdDo -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
