This is not really an error I had. Simply, as soon as I made a query with a username that had full access on the tables,I kept these permissions for the next user, even if it had a more restricted access. Access seems to "remember" somethingabout the connections. But I totally agree, this is an Access issue, not a Postgresql one. -----Message d'origine----- De : Jeff Eckermann [mailto:jeff_eckermann@yahoo.com] Envoyé : mardi, 4. novembre 2003 16:30 À : Philippe Lang Cc : pgsql-odbc@postgresql.org Objet : RE: [ODBC] ODBC DSN Connections --- Philippe Lang <philippe.lang@attiksystem.ch> wrote: > In Ms-Access, DSN-less connections for pass-through > queries, or linked tables work, but I noticed > strange problems regarding permissions. But this is really an issue with Access, not PostgreSQL. You would be better off researching this in Access newsgroups, or in the Microsoft knowledge base. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Protect your identity with Yahoo!
