That's a correct assesment; the ranking is more-or-less correct, the numbers are not. Partly it's because a lot of the metrics they use focus on retrograde trends (i.e. what has been popular already for several years) and partly because of stupid things like not counting "Postgres" or "EnterpriseDB". Based on my own numbers, MySQL's popularity index (installed base and people) is still 2X to 3X ours. Difference is, PostgreSQL adoption is growing whereas MySQL is not.
