New lines and carriage returns

Hey Folks -

One of our assistants uses pgAdmin 1.18.1 on OSX 10.10 to edit rows in 
our database.  If the data she is inserting/updating multiline cells it 
uses \r\n instead of just \n.

Is there a way to make pgAdmin only use \n?
