Looks as though OSCON has also cancelled all of the non-perl State of
the Union addresses this year, which is a shame, as this would have been
a great chance for us to get our 15 minutes of fame in front of the
entire OSCON community. Great presentation, a good booth, and a good
Birds of a Feather session only go so far, as they all have a certain
degree of "preaching to the choir" issue that the SOTU would have overcome.

If anyone has any OSCON pull, it would be nice to try and get a PG SOTU
on schedule again for the whole crowd. Not that I see any good timeslots,
but even just 15 minutes would go a long, long way to capturing some
mindshare.
