I don't know, unfortunately. Does Solaris have 'ldd' or similar, to 
check what libraries libpq.so depends on? On my Linux system:

$ ldd <path to pgsql installation>/lib/libpq.so

The libssl and libcrypto dependencies come from building with OpenSSL.
