Anthony makes a good point, especially while pgAdmin 4 is still in development. There is a serious issue where pgAdmin3 silently closes when you right-click on menu items to connect to a database or to open a table, for instance. I'veseen this on OpenSuSE Linux when using a recently purchased machine but it has not been a big problem on VirtualBox VMsor the old machine I replaced. Still occurs sometimes, just not all the time.

I am aware of another user thatpointed out this issue so I know I'm not the only one. It would be nice to get that bug in pgAdmin 3 fixed as I'm tryingto encourage someone else to use it and they will be disappointed if it's unusable.

PatrickHeadley
Linx Consulting, Inc.
pheadley@linxco-inc.com
(303) 916-5522
<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated"href="http://www.linxco-inc.com">www.linxco-inc.com

On08/10/2016 05:00 PM, Darren Duncan wrote:

<blockquote cite="mid:57ABB213.2030609@darrenduncan.net"type="cite">On 2016-08-10 5:02 AM, Anthony DeBarros wrote:
<blockquotetype="cite">New poster to the list, so apologies if this has been covered:

What's the plan forpgAdmin3 once version 4 reaches full release? However, further development on it would probably slowto a trickle, eg security of compatibility or bug fixes but not major features. It would probably only get major enhancementsif someone wants them enough to pay to have them developed or do it themselves. But downloading should workfor a long time. -- Darren Duncan
