I agree we need some actual uses. If people want more I'm prepared to put some hurried effort into making one just for copy to text array, since the consensus didn't seems to be in favor of piggybacking this onto the file_fdw. That would exercise the part of the new COPY API that would not otherwise not be exercised by file_fdw. If not, I'll eventually contribute that for 9.2. cheers andrew
