Another question: Is there a reason not to send the signal in XlogFlush itself, so it would be called at CreateCheckPoint(), EndPrepare(), FlushBuffer(), RecordTransactionAbortPrepared(), RecordTransactionCommit(), RecordTransactionCommitPrepared(), RelationTruncate(), SlruPhysicalWritePage(), write_relmap_file(), WriteTruncateXlogRec(), and xact_redo_commit(). regards, Yeb Havinga
