SELECT * FROM session WHERE (start_ts,end_ts) OVERLAPS (<start-of-hour>,
<end-of-hour>);

I tries googling / searching archives without any success either.

I'd have thought OVERLAPS would be mentioned in the date/time handling
sections of the manual.
