tomcat postgresql database conectivity error

Hi All,
I get this error when I try to connect a web application running on
tomcat, to a postgreesql database.....
Below is the data from tomcat logs--

And the next one is from postgresql logs....

Please advise....ive tried searchign a lot but havent found any clue
