However, there are some good sources of information I can point you towards. You already know about the manuals at http://www.postgresql.org/docs/ and they are a good source of reference information, but not really a place to learn about database design. A book: "An Introduction to Database Systems" by "C.J. Date" is a good guide to the underlying principles. As for "SQL" books - I'm not sure. Anyone else have any ideas?
