I don't know if this is an ODBC driver issue or an Access issue or an XP issue but I thought I'd ask and see if anyone has run into this before. I have an Access client that I use to talk with my PostgreSQL database through ODBC. Now the person who designed this tool built it in such a way that a new database needs to be created every year and the client linked to this database. I just got through copying the old database to the new and doing the needed data conversions, and connected the client to them. On my Windows 2000 machine everything runs just fine using Access2000. However my clients all use Windows XP with AccessXP (2002). When my clients open up the client all date fields that hold data (not null) show the system date, and not the data from the database. If I change the system date the next load of records from the database will show that date. Has anyone ever seen this type of behavior? BTW the new client is just a copy of the old with the table links removed and attached to the new database, and last years client had all of the same system/Access variables. Thanks, Rob
