I agree on this particular item BUT... wouldn't it be nice if the book would be a 'hard' book? there already are lots of database tutorials, introductions to sql etc. focus on db developers, go into (maybe not that deep) how and why postgres is/was developed the way it is/was. 'hard' books are a 'good thing' (tm) and it would be too bad if this would become another entry-level booklet. OTOH an entry-level book is probably required to get as big a user-base as possible.
