Opportunity to have an article in the Linux Format Magazine

Hi everyone,

Have just been emailing with Nick Veitch of the "Linux Format" Magazine,
pointing out that they left PostgreSQL out of the "Server Software"
options for voting upon for their "Linux Format Awards".

Nick has suggested that they could redress this by doing something about
PostgreSQL in an upcoming article.  i.e. an article, etc.

Does this sound like a good idea, and if so do we have someone willing
to be in charge of getting it done?

To be fair most people seemed to be thinking of Apache, Samba etc. MySQL
didn't get many nominations either, but enough to make it worth
including. Judging by the nominations, I think <snip> is going to win.
There was a piece in the magazine, and all the nominations were
generated through the website, so you should really check that out. I
was quite surprised myself!

Perhaps to redress the balance we should do something about PostgreSQL
in an upcoming issue?
Perhaps an interview covering where development is headed? Or maybe
someone would like to contribute a practical piece on good database
design or whatever? I'm open to suggestions.
