I always assumed that the point was not to diminish the relevence of Jesus' birth, but to take his teaching to heart and show sensitivity to those whose cultures don't share that heritage. As for postgresql having an anit-Christian bias? I think Lamar and Bruce, among others, could not be accused of an anti-Christian bias. -- Karl
