PostgreSQL ver. 7.0 is great.
It solved a lot of problems for me.
One of them was my silly little Mandelbrot fractal program.

BTW, we are currently pushing hard on PostgreSQL to the
public here in Denmark. I can not move people away from
MySQL on my own but I try.
