Seems to me that elog(FATAL) should call siglongjmp(Warn_restart, 1), like elog(ERROR), but force exit in tcop main loop after AbortCurrentTransaction(). AbortTransaction() does pretty nice things like RelationPurgeLocalRelation(false) and DestroyNoNameRels()... Vadim
