libpq.o problem in Pg.pm 1.8 make test on Linux

Have successfully tested and installed PostgreSQL 6.4 and your DBD::Pg
module. My dynamic loader is having trouble finding libpq.o when I
try to "make test" the Pg.pm module version 1.8.  But everything else
was happy.

I played with ldconfig as described in the Postgres INSTALL file.  I
did find that there were old versions of libpq* in /usr/lib I moved
these to a safe place, redid the ldconfig and still no luck.  Finally
in desperation, I copied libpq.so from /usr/local/pgsql/lib/ to
/usr/lib and then it worked.
