Sorry if this is very basic, but I have searched through the archives and saw mention in a message that vacuuming template1 caused problems. So I just wanted to be sure. Is it necessary to vacuum the template1 database? I am writing a script to backup and then vacuum my database, but wondered if I should include a command for vacuuming template1 in addition.
