You forgot space saving storage of floating point numbers:

mysql> create table test(foo int);
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.51 sec)

mysql> insert into test (foo) values (1.5);
Query OK, 1 row affected (0.42 sec)

mysql> select * from test;
+------+
| foo  |
+------+
|    2 |
+------+
1 row in set (0.01 sec)
