I will confidently predict that the really big, nasty change in 9.1 is the change of default standard_conforming_strings. That's going to break way more apps than anything else, and possibly in security-critical ways. Anybody who moves an app onto 9.1 without testing it is going to suffer big-time. regards, tom lane
