Hi Jorge, Have you read the upgrade documentation for 9.5? http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.5/static/upgrading.html The up-shot is that if you are upgrading in place, pg_upgrade might very well work (definitely should have a backup available just in case), but if you are moving to a new, non-ABI-compatible platform, you will have to go via pg_dumpall.
