Your boss should either cross train a current employee or hire an additional employee. What happens if you get hit by a bus? It sounds like no one else there will know what's going on. A person brought in after you are gone is going to take a significant amount of time to figure things out and the business may have serious probelms while that is happening. On the plus side you should be in a good position when it comes to salary negotiations.
