== PostgreSQL Weekly News - July 24 2005 == 8.1 feature freeze is on. Now it's time to work out implementation details, stamp out bugs, and test, test, test. EnterpriseDB, Neil Conway and (earlier) Sean Chittenden worked with Coverity to do static code analysis of PostgreSQL. They found 20 bugs in 3/4 million lines of code. Going to OSCON? We need volunteers to staff the PostgreSQL booth. Please contact Josh Berkus josh@agliodbs.com to volunteer for shifts. The week after is LinuxWorld Expo, San Francisco. Contact David Fetter david@fetter.org to volunteer for shifts at the EnterpriseDB booth and for RSVPs to the SF PostgreSQL Users' Group BOFH that week.
