Not really, since that is exactly as *I* thought it was ... a client side connector, not server side :) If both the JDBC and DB server are on the same physical machine, that is a design choice, but if we go by that as making it a 'server side driver', then pretty much any add on for PostgreSQL (DBD::Pg, php4-pgsql, etc) would fall under the same realm ... ---- Marc G.
