Of course, I > doubt if one would > come across such a drastic change as that with what > we are concerned > with here. i agree. don't get me wrong, i've done a ton of research and the good folks here have helped out tremendously. it does make sense to avoid the big traps early on. i'm thinking of issues like oop and the use of functions. the code is basically the same, it is just how it is structured and called. i'm doing it inefficiently and i will likely redo it later at som cost. in the meantime, though, i'm actually creating forms that work instead of reading a textbook and banging my head ;-) i'm also learning why that cool stuff is cool and when i look back into it, i will have a practical knowledgebase that will provide some context for me. > No, as I said in another message, I don't even have > a Windows system > that supports NTFS, plus the fact that I prefer to > stay away from > windows as much as possible. i hear ya! > Perhaps.
