OK, I updated this to point to doc/src.  Marc, I have a
doc/postgres.tar.gz here that you can use to make the tarball.  It is
now at ftp://candle.pha.pa.us/pub/postgresql.

Tom agrees so I will move it to the web site.  Shame we don't have the
source, which was originally TeX.
