Hmmm, it is likely that you are using an old driver... See the diffs at... http://www.ca.postgresql.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/pgsql/src/interfaces/jdbc/org/postgresql/jdbc2/DatabaseMetaData.java.diff?r1=1.9&r2=1.10 Looks like it used to return the version number of the driver... The current cvs driver works quite well and I imagine has fixed a number of problems since then. Tom.
