Please help me....

Dear Sir,
I am waheed from dubai.
I got your mailid, when i am searching for a document
in postgresql.And your document helped me
alot and i some more doubts i hope you can help me.

This is my problem.

I am having a table called FRUITS which will be
updated by the merchants frequently as
the merchants  got with them FRUITS.

At the same time my another web interface, have an
option for the public search to
the FRUITS.In this my educational project,if the
search result nothing
(query does not matches with the fruit detail).
I am having an option for the end user (ie) people who
searching for FRUITS can
register with their email ids and i will save their
specification of FRUITS(query for the
particular not avialable FRUIT).


So that when i got a new record in the table FRUITS,i
have to check for the query that i have
saved and if the query matches with new record added.I
have to send this FRUITS details to
that particular email id.
Please help me in this regard .I am expecting your
valuable reply.

How i can trigger email when the query matches.I am
using JSP for the complete web interface and
database is Postgres in my Red hat linux 7.0.I will be
thankfull for your valuable reply.
